How to Add Your Revolut GBP Account for Payments

If you have a GBP bank account with Revolut and wish to receive payments from GetYourGuide, please follow these instructions to ensure your payment details are set up correctly. All GBP transfers to UK bank accounts are processed as Domestic Bank Transfers.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Locate Your Account Details

  • Open your Revolut app and find your GBP account details for transfers within the UK.
  • Note your Account Number and Sort Code.

2. Generate a Valid IBAN

  • Go to an IBAN Calculator.
  • Enter your Account Number and Sort Code to generate the correct UK IBAN.
  • Important: Do not use the international IBAN provided by Revolut. Using the wrong IBAN may cause payment failures.

3. Enter the SWIFT/BIC Code

  • For the SWIFT/BIC field, use the BIC code Revolut provides for transfers outside the UK.

4. Complete the Payment Method Form

  • Log in to the GetYourGuide portal.
  • Go to the “Payment method” section.
  • Enter the generated IBAN and the BIC code, along with any other required details.
  • Click “Save” to submit your changes.

5. Verify and Confirm Changes

  • Check your primary email inbox for a message from GetYourGuide: 
    Subject: “Important: Review and confirm changes made to your payment details”
  • Follow the instructions in the email to authorize the update.

6. Confirmation

  • Once your payment method status shows as “Confirmed” in the portal, your new details are active.
  • The new payment details will be used from the next payout cycle.

Key Reminders

  • Always use the UK-specific IBAN generated from your Account Number and Sort Code.
  • Never use the international IBAN provided by Revolut for this process.
  • Double-check all details before saving to avoid payment delays.
