Book faster — in one click

Meet GYG Advisor Quick-Book, a new Chrome extension that connects the GetYourGuide Marketplace directly to your Partner Portal.

Here's what it changes:

• Search and discover on the Marketplace, where filters, photos, and reviews are strongest.
• Click one button, and the same activity opens in the Partner Portal — ready to book with your commission tracked.
• When a client sends you a GetYourGuide link, click the extension and jump straight to the bookable version in the Portal. No more searching twice.

Rule of thumb: Use the Marketplace to discover (stronger search, filters, photos, and reviews). Use the Partner Portal to book (that's where your commission and self-service management live). The extension connects the two.

Install the extension (one-time, ~30 seconds)

1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing: Install GYG Advisor Quick-Book from the Chrome Web Store

2. On the page that opens, click Add to Chrome (top-right).

   

   Chrome Web Store — click "Add to Chrome" in the top-right corner.

3. In the pop-up that appears, click Add extension to confirm.
4. After installation, you'll see a small orange TA button (TA = Travel Agent) in the top-right of your Chrome window.

How to use it (the everyday flow)

1. Log in to the Partner Portal at partner.getyourguide.com and keep that tab open. (You must be logged in for the extension to work.)
2. Open a new tab and go to the GetYourGuide Marketplace at getyourguide.com.
3. Search and browse as you normally would — use filters, categories, reviews, and photos.

4. When you find an activity your client will love, click it to open its full details page.

   

5. With the activity details page open, click the orange TA button in your Chrome toolbar.

6. You'll be taken straight to the same activity on the Partner Portal, ready to book with your commission tracked.

   

That's it — no copy-pasting and no double-searching.

1. The title, photos or description look slightly different on the Portal. Is it the same tour?

Yes — you can book with confidence. The extension matches activities using a unique tour ID number, not the title or photos. Even if the wording, images or currency displayed differ, it is the same tour with the same supplier.

Notice the tour ID in the URL (e.g. …/activity-details/659135) — that is what the extension uses to guarantee a match.

We know parity between the Marketplace and Portal is not perfect yet — our team is actively working on it. If something looks off, trust the extension: the ID is the source of truth.

2. I clicked the extension, but the tour is not bookable in the Partner Portal. What now?

🚨 Use this workaround only when the Portal booking isn't available. The Portal is always the preferred path — see the commission table below.

A small number of activities aren't always available to book directly through the Partner Portal. When that happens, use your affiliate link so your commission is still tracked.

1. In the Partner Portal, click the Share your link button (top-right).

   

2. Click Copy to clipboard in the pop-up.

   

3. Paste the link into a new browser tab and press Enter.
4. Check the URL — you'll see a partner_id= parameter followed by your unique code. That's your affiliate tracking, now active for this session.

5. From that same tab, search for the activity and complete the booking on the Marketplace. Make sure you don't open a new tab in between, or the tracking may be lost.

3. So how exactly do I earn commission?

There are only two ways a booking counts toward your commission:

Always prefer the Partner Portal when the activity is available there. You will be able to modify dates, add participants, or cancel on your client's behalf without contacting support.

4. Useful tip💡: Save tours you love with Favorites

You can now build a wishlist in the Marketplace — perfect for tours you rebook often or want to remember for a future client.

How to save an activity

• On any search results page, click the ♥ heart icon on the activity card, or
• Open the activity and click Add to wishlist.

• Click the heart on any card to save it — a filled red heart means it is on your wishlist.

   

  

How to find your wishlist

1.  Click your Profile icon (top-right of the Marketplace).

2. Select Wishlist from the menu.

Profile menu → Wishlist. You will see your saved activities organized by city.
