Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an enhanced security measure that requires two forms of identification before granting access to an account:

  1. Your regular account password.
  2. An additional code that you receive through your smartphone (SMS or an authentication app).

Passwords can be hacked. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to ensure that even if a password is compromised, your account remains secure. By using 2FA, you protect your data and customer data from unauthorized access, significantly enhancing the overall security of your account.

icons8-3-64.pngWhat types of Two-Factor Authentication do we offer?

  1. Authenticator Apps (Recommended)
Authenticator apps generate a temporary code which updates frequently. When logging into the portal, you will be asked to input the code, which you can see by simply opening the app. We recommend this option as it works offline and is the most secure.
  2. SMS Authentication
A code is sent via text message to your mobile phone, which you then enter on the login page along with your password. This does require you to have a signal and is less secure than the authenticator app.

  2. Restart your device: Sometimes, simply restarting your mobile device can fix enrolment issues.
  3. Try scanning the QR code again.
  4. Restart the enrolment process: Log out and log back in again.

Authenticator code doesn’t work?

  1. Sync Time: Authenticator codes might not work if the time on your app and the server don't match. Follow your Authenticator app's guidelines to sync the time correctly.
  2. Follow App Guidelines: Each Authenticator app has specific guidelines for time synchronization. Please refer to the troubleshooting section of your installed app for detailed instructions on syncing time.

You’ve lost the backup code?

Remember, authenticator codes generated with the old backup code will no longer work.

The device with the authenticator app is lost?

  1. Use backup code: If you lose your device but have the backup code, you can manually enter it into a new authenticator app to generate a verification code.
  2. Contact Support to reset: If you’ve lost the backup code as well, reach out to our Partner support via the Contact Form. You will need to re-enroll and obtain a new backup code.
