Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an enhanced security measure that requires two forms of identification before granting access to an account:

  1. Your regular account password.
  2. An additional code that you receive through your smartphone (SMS or an authentication app).

Passwords can be hacked. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to ensure that even if a password is compromised, your account remains secure. By using 2FA, you protect your data and customer data from unauthorized access, significantly enhancing the overall security of your account.

icons8-3-64.pngWhat types of Two-Factor Authentication do we offer?

  1. Authenticator Apps (Recommended)
Authenticator apps or browser generate a temporary code which updates frequently. When logging into the portal, you will be asked to input the code, which you can see by simply opening the app. We recommend this option as it works offline and is the most secure.
    • Can I install it on my laptop? Yes, you can use the authenticator on your laptop. Simply use a Chrome browser extension, for example the Proton Pass extension or Authenticator.
  1. SMS Authentication
A code is sent via text message to your mobile phone, which you then enter on the login page along with your password. This does require you to have a signal and is less secure than the authenticator app.
