What is the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an enhanced security measure that requires two forms of identification before granting access to an account:
- Your regular account password.
- An additional code that you receive through your smartphone (SMS or an authentication app).
Passwords can be hacked. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to ensure that even if a password is compromised, your account remains secure. By using 2FA, you protect your data and customer data from unauthorized access, significantly enhancing the overall security of your account.
Set Up Your 2FA
It’s quick and easy. Follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account in the Partner Portal.
- Go to your account settings.
- Click the preferred option under “2-step verification.”
- Follow instructions.
Now choose your preferred set up:
Google Authenticator App (Recommended)
Use an authenticator app to generate temporary codes that refresh frequently. When logging into your portal, simply open the app to view the code and enter it.
- Why we recommend it: Works offline and offers the highest level of security.
