Why haven't I received my payment?

Waiting on a commission payment from GetYourGuide and not sure what's going on? đź’¶ Most payment delays come down to a handful of common causes. This guide walks you through how to pinpoint the reason and what to do next, so you can get back to earning without the guesswork.

👉 Start here: open your payment section and check whether you've received a payment confirmation. Then jump to the matching section below.

No payment confirmation received

If no payment confirmation has landed in your inbox or appeared in your payment section, one of the four scenarios below is almost certainly the cause. We've ordered them from most to least common — check them in order!

Payout threshold not reached

If you've chosen Bank Transfer as your payment method, a minimum threshold of 50.00 EUR (or local equivalent) must be reached before a payout is triggered. If your balance is below the threshold, your commission simply rolls over to the next month until you hit 50 EUR.

👉 What to do: check your current balance in the payment section. Learn more about payout thresholds.

Incomplete or incorrect payment details

Missing or incorrect information is one of the top reasons for delayed payments. Double-check that every field in both your account and payment settings is filled out correctly.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open your payment details section.
  2. Select the country of your bank and complete every field shown.
  3. Fill out your account details: full name, personal address, and phone number with country code (e.g. +1 for USA).
  4. Once saved, your payment will be automatically processed on the next payment run (5th of the following month). No further action needed.

Pending tours or cancellations

Commissions are only paid out on activities that have been completed and fully charged. If a booking is still in the future, or if it was canceled or refunded, this will affect your payout.

  • Has the activity already taken place?
    • No, it's in the future: commission is applied only after the activity is completed and the customer has been charged in full.
  • Has the booking been canceled or refunded?
    • Yes: no commission is paid on canceled bookings. For partial refunds, your commission is adjusted accordingly in the current or next payment run.

Payout schedule and timing

Commission payments are scheduled on the 5th working day of the month following the activity date. Depending on your bank's processing times, it can take until the 10th working day of the month before the funds actually land in your account.

⏳ What to do: if it's only been a few days since the 5th, hang tight — your payment is likely still in transit.

Payment confirmation received — but no money yet?

If your payment confirmation is there but the funds haven't arrived, the delay is usually on the banking side. Two things to check:

  • Verify your bank details: confirm your IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, and account holder name with your bank — a single wrong character can block a transfer.
  • Give it until the 10th working day: payments issued around the 5th can take a few business days to clear, especially for international transfers.

Need help?

💡 Quick recap: keep your payment and account details complete and up to date, check your balance against the 50 EUR threshold, and remember that commissions only count for completed activities. Do that, and your earnings will arrive right on schedule. 🚀
