1. What’s new with the voucher program?

We’ve made some fantastic updates to improve the program:

  • Direct Booking Links: You’ll now link directly to the specific GetYourGuide experience you want to book, ensuring your voucher perfectly matches your adventure.
  • Enhanced Transparency: You’ll have a clearer view of how your adjusted view counts determine your eligibility, so you always know where you stand.
  • Double the Fun: You can now use your voucher to make 1 booking for a single experience but for 2 participants! Bring a friend, partner, or family member along to share the magic.

2. Why are there changes to the voucher program’s budget?

These updates allow us to focus resources on providing precise value. On average, creators’ activities cost less than the maximum voucher amount. While some tiers have adjusted budgets, we’re expanding other ways to monetize your content with GetYourGuide, giving you more flexibility and earning potential.

3. Do I still need to meet view count requirements to qualify for a voucher?

Yes, adjusted view counts are still required to verify eligibility. Your voucher value is based on the tier you qualify for, determined by your average views and platform (Instagram or TikTok). You’ll always know the exact voucher value you’re eligible for, up to €200 (€250 with virality).

4. What if the experience I want costs less than my voucher value?

No problem! You’ll still receive the full voucher amount you qualify for. For example, if you qualify for a €200 voucher but book an €80 experience, you’ll still receive the €200 voucher. It’s your choice how to use it, as long as it stays within the maximum value.

5. Can I book any GetYourGuide experience with my voucher?

Yes! You can choose any GetYourGuide experience, as long as it doesn’t exceed your voucher cap and complies with our sponsored experience restrictions.

6. Can I use my voucher to book for myself and a friend/partner?

Absolutely! You can now make two bookings per Sponsored Experience (SE) voucher. The total cost of both bookings must stay within your voucher value.

7. What does “voucher cap + virality” mean?

If one of your recent posts goes viral, you can qualify for a higher voucher cap, bumping you up one tier from your standard eligibility. We love rewarding your amazing content!

8. How are voucher caps determined?

Instagram:

  • <10k views: €30 (€50 with virality)
  • 10k–25k views: €50 (€100 with virality)
  • 25k–50k views: €100 (€150 with virality)
  • 50k–100k views: €150 (€200 with virality)
  • 100k+ views: €200 (€250 with virality)

TikTok:

  • <15k views: €30 (€50 with virality)
  • 15k–30k views: €50 (€100 with virality)
  • 30k–55k views: €100 (€150 with virality)
  • 55k–100k views: €150 (€200 with virality)
  • 100k+ views: €200 (€250 with virality)

9. How is “virality” defined?

  • Instagram: A post is viral if it achieves 3x–10x your average reach. For example, if your average Reel gets 5k views, a viral one might hit 30k–100k+ views.
  • TikTok: A post is viral if it achieves 10x–100x your follower count. For smaller accounts (under 10k followers), this means 50k–100k+ views.

10. Is there a time frame for a post to be considered viral?

Yes, the viral post must be one of your last five content pieces shared on your account.

11. How much more could my voucher be worth with a viral post?

If your content is deemed viral, you’ll be bumped up one tier in the voucher cap system. For example, if your average Instagram views are 15k, your normal cap is €50, but with a viral post, it could increase to €100!

12. Do I need to decide on my experience before applying for the voucher?

Yes, you must link to the specific GetYourGuide experience you want to book when applying for the voucher. This ensures the experience is within your eligible voucher value.

13. Can I travel as a family?

Yes, you can travel as a family! Just simply select this option in the application form and we will provide a voucher that can book more than 2 tickets.

14. What if the activity I want to book is more expensive than the tier I qualify for?

If you would like to take a more expensive activity you can simply select this option in the application form. You will still receive the same budget but will be able to cover the remaining amount yourself.
