Monitor integration health: Ensure your integrations (deeplinks and widgets) are functioning correctly.

Track performance: Analyze views, clicks, click-through rates, bookings, and conversion rates. Use integration reports to track performance during promotions you participate in.

Identify issues: Detect and fix broken or redirected integrations to avoid losing conversions.

Set the filters: this allows you to tailor the data to your specific needs and gain more relevant insights.

    • Date: The date filter is automatically set to the last 30 days. You can adjust this to any time frame depending on what period you want to analyze.
    • Integration type: Choose the type of integration you wish to review, such as deeplinks or widgets.
    • Integration status:
      • Active: Integrations that are currently functioning correctly.
      • Inactive: One or more activities in your widget are not available (deactivated) and therefore will not show up. Please update your widget and exchange affected activities. (Applies only to widgets)
      • Redirected: Integrations redirected to a different URL because the activity is not available. We use fallbacks to minimize the impact on your conversion rate, such as redirecting to a similar activity or an activity collection. However, we recommend replacing unavailable activities for the best user experience and conversion rate. (Applies only to deeplinks)
      • Broken: Your deeplink is either structurally malformed or doesn’t contain your correct partner ID. (Applies only to deeplinks)

Here you have the detailed overview of the integrations. The chart is divided into several key metrics:

  • Type: The type of integration (deeplink or widget).
  • Pages: The number of pages on which the integration is implemented.
  • Activity: The specific activity linked by the integration.
  • Links to: The GetYourGuide activity page that the integration links to.
  • Status: The current status of the integration (Active, Inactive, Redirected, Broken). See status break down in the upper section.
  • Views: This is how many times a unique link or widget to an activity was seen by visitors on your website. It's not just the number of times a single page was viewed, but how often this link or widget was seen across all the pages of your website where it appears.
  • Clicks:This is the number of times a specific link or widget was clicked. Each click is tracked because it leads to the GetYourGuide website, triggering an attribution tracking event.
  • CTR (Click Through Rate): The click through rate (CTR) of each integration, calculated as clicks/impressions.
  • Visitors: The total number of visitors coming from your integration to GetYourGuide in the selected timeframe.
  • Bookings: The number of bookings derived from each integration.
  • Bookings CR (Conversion Rate): The conversion rate of each integration, calculated as bookings/visitors.
  • First seen: The date when the integration was first seen.

In the pages table, you can locate all pages where each unique integration is placed.

Screenshot 2024-08-05 at 17.24.45.png

  • Page: This is the URL of the page on your website where the integration is located.
  • Activity: This is the name of the activity your integration links to. If your integration does not link to a specific activity but another type of landing page, this information will be blank.
  • Links to: This is the landing page your integration links to. If your integration shows a "broken" status, carefully check the URL. We recommend creating a new integration using our integration tools to ensure it works properly and you receive the appropriate commission.
  • First Seen / Last Seen:These are the dates when we first or last tracked the integration on this page. If you have removed or replaced an integration, it might still appear in the table depending on the timeframe you've filtered. The first/last seen dates help you understand when the old integration phased out and the new one was implemented.

Use the filters to tailor the data to your specific needs. Ensure you select the appropriate date range. Set the integration status filter to "Broken" to focus on malfunctioning links. Screenshot 2024-08-07 at 14.12.15.png
  3. Navigate to the lower section - pages:
Scroll down to the lower section of the report, where you will find a table listing all pages with integrations.
  4. Identify the broken link:
    • Locate the broken link by checking the "Pages" column to find the URL of the page where the broken link is situated. Screenshot 2024-08-07 at 14.17.28.png
    • In the "Links to" column, you will find the specific deeplink that is broken.Screenshot 2024-08-07 at 14.18.41.png
  5. Diagnose the issue:
Most broken links occur because they are missing or have an invalid partner or cookie ID. Carefully review the deeplink to identify any errors. As you can see in the video example.
  6. Correct the deeplink:
To understand how to build the deeplink correctly, please refer to our detailed guide: Deep links 101.
