✨ What is the Creator Storefront?
The Creator Storefront lets you turn your travel experiences into personalized Destination Guides, complete with your own stories, tips, and photos. Check out the following slides for a complete step-by-step guide!
2-Factor Authentication
Before diving into your Storefront, it's crucial to secure your account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This mandatory step adds an extra layer of security to keep your account safe. Here's how you can set it up:
- Google authenticator app (🎉 We highly recommend this option for its reliability and ease of use)
- Authenticator browser extension
- SMS through your mobile phone: (While this option is quick and straightforward, be aware that you might face verification issues when traveling or changing your phone number.)
For more details, please check the guide: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) It's your go-to resource for all things security!
Set Up Your Storefront🛠️
1. Create your storefront:
- Go to the Opportunities section of your partner portal (look for the pink banner).
- Click on "Create Storefront"
- Head to the Tool section (the red dot indicates your storefront is live 🔴).
4. Build your profile:
- Add your name or the handle your followers know you by.
- Write a short bio to introduce yourself.
- Upload a profile image.
- Select up to 5 interests from our list so followers can get to know you.
Your profile is your home base, make it feel like you!
5. Create a guide: Each Storefront can include unlimited Destination Guides. Each guide is a collection of recommendations, stories, and experiences for a specific place or theme.
To create a guide:
- Click “Create guide” in your Storefront.
- Add a title (required).
- Optionally, add a cover photo.
- Add 1–5 destinations your guide covers (at least 1 required).
- Select up to 5 interests that capture your guide’s theme (e.g., “Nature” for hiking guides).
6. Add Content Block: Personalize your Destination Guides using flexible building blocks. Under "Guide content", you'll find the building blocks:
- Text block: Choose to add a title, body text, or both. Whatever you fill in will appear – leave it blank and it won't show.
- Image block: Upload one image for full-screen impact, or multiple images to create a carousel.
- Activity block: Add your recommendations (we'll cover this next).
- Click on any block to get started – it will appear below and you can arrange them however you want.
Arrange blocks however you like, every guide is uniquely yours.
7. Add Recommendations in two ways:
- Search by name, destination or paste the activity URL
- Add an optional title to give context (e.g., "My favorite food tours")
- Remember: You need at least 1 activity to publish
Once you've added all your content blocks, hit publish! Your guide will appear in your profile, and you can edit or update it anytime.
💡 Quick reminder: To publish, you need a guide title, at least one destination, and at least one activity recommendation.
Need to make some changes?
Super easy! To change or update a Destination Guide, simply go to your Storefront in the Partner Portal, find the guide you want to edit, and click “Modify Guide.”
You can update the title, cover photo, destinations, interests, or any content blocks. After making your changes, click “Publish guide” to save and update it. If you want to temporarily remove a guide from public view, you can save it as a draft at any time.
Which Experiences Can I Add to My Storefront? 🏝️
You can add any GetYourGuide Experience you like! Our recommendation is to:
- Keep it simple — too many options can overwhelm your followers. 🌀
- Match what you show in your reels and posts so followers recognize your recommendations. 📸
All experiences will be sorted per destination. Every experience you add to your Storefront will automatically be added to a destination category.
For instance, if you add multiple Paris recommendations, they’ll be sorted in one section in your Storefront. Plus, every experience you add is automatically an affiliate link, so no need to create them separately!
Where Do I Share My Storefront? 📣
Share your full Storefront profile link or individual Destination Guide links anywhere:
-
Social Media: Pair it with your Sponsored Experience Reels for maximum impact! Drop it in:
Stories — perfect for a quick swipe-up!
DMs — ask followers to comment on the Reel to get the link 💬
Link in Bio or Linktree — the easiest way to keep it accessible 🔗
Video descriptions — for platforms with clickable links like YouTube 🎥
Add it to your travel posts for an easy way for readers to book the same experiences you're raving about. - Website: Feature it on your homepage or create a dedicated "Book My Favorite Experiences" section where fans can follow in your footsteps.
-
Email newsletters, podcast show notes, or even share it directly with friends and family planning trips to destinations you've covered.
How Do I Earn and Get Paid? 💰
Every time someone books an experience from your Storefront, you earn an affiliate commission:
- Example: If your rate is 8% and the average booking is $150, you earn $12 for one sale. With 10 bookings, that’s $120 in your pocket!
- We total up your earnings every month and pay you via PayPal or bank transfer.
- You can see your progress in the Analytics section in your Partner Portal.
What You Need to Know About Payments:
- Payment Threshold: If you’re using a bank transfer, you'll need to earn at least €50 before receiving payment. No worries — this is totally doable! PayPal payments don't have this minimum threshold.
- Payment Schedule: Payments happen monthly. It takes 3-7 business days after these dates for payment confirmations to appear. Payment depends on travel dates — you get paid after tours are completed. 📅

🚀 Getting Started with the New Storefront
1. How many Storefronts can I have? 🌟
You get one Storefront to call your own, but you can create as many Destination Guides as you like! Think of your Storefront as your home base, and each Destination Guide as a unique collection of your best travel tips and experiences.
2. What's new about Creator Storefront?
The new Creator Storefront lets you go beyond just sharing links. Now you can add your own stories, travel tips, and photos using flexible building blocks. Create themed guides, city itineraries, or activity reviews that really let your personality shine and help your audience travel like a pro.
3. What happens to my existing Storefront if I have an old one? Will my old links still work? 🔗
No worries, your Storefront has been automatically upgraded to the new version! All your old links will still work and redirect to your updated Storefront, but we recommend sharing your new link for the best experience.
4. How do I personalize my Storefront profile? 😊
You can add a profile photo, write a short and catchy bio, and select up to 5 interests. This helps your followers get to know you better and makes your Storefront feel like your own little corner of the internet.
🛠️ Building & Editing Your Guides
1. Can I edit my Destination Guides after publishing? ✏️
Absolutely! Your guides are never set in stone. We actually recommend updating them as you travel more and find new experiences to share. Just go to your Storefront, find the guide you want to update, click “Modify Guide,” make your changes, and hit “Publish guide.” Easy!
2. How many Destination Guides can I create?
As many as you want! There’s no limit, so you can create guides for every destination, theme, or trip style you want to share.
3. Can I delete or unpublish a guide?
Yes! If you want to unpublish a guide (but not delete it forever), just click “Modify Guide” and then “Save as Draft.” That way, you can bring it back whenever you’re ready. If you would like to permanently delete a guide simply select the 'delete' button.
4. How do I temporarily hide a guide without deleting it? 👀
To temporarily remove a guide from your Storefront, use the “Save as Draft” option. Your guide will be hidden from followers but still available for you to edit and republish anytime.
5. Can I reorder building blocks after adding them?
You can! While there isn’t a drag-and-drop feature just yet, you can reorder your content by deleting and re-adding blocks in the order you want. We know it’s not perfect, but improvements are on the way!
6. How many activities should I include in one guide? 🗺️
It’s totally up to you! If you have lots of recommendations, try splitting them into themed activity blocks (like “Best Food Tours” or “Must-Do Museums”) to keep things easy to browse.
7. Can I duplicate a guide to use as a template?
Not yet, but if this would make your life easier, let us know! Your feedback helps us plan new features.
📤 Sharing & Promotion
1. Can I share individual Destination Guides or just my full Storefront? 📣
You can do both! Share your full Storefront to showcase all your guides, or grab the link to a specific Destination Guide for more targeted sharing.
2. How do I get my Storefront link?
Just copy the URL from your browser when you’re viewing your Storefront in the Partner Portal. That’s your unique link, ready to share anywhere!
3. How do I get the link to a specific Destination Guide?
Open the Destination Guide you want to share and copy the URL from your browser. Each guide has its own unique link for direct sharing.
4. Can I customize my Storefront URL?
Not right now, your Storefront URL includes your unique ID and can’t be customized. But you can use a URL shortener to make it look cleaner!
5. Where should I share my Storefront? 🌍
Anywhere your audience hangs out! Instagram bio, Stories, Reels, YouTube descriptions, blog posts, email newsletters, podcast notes, get creative! The more places you share, the more chances to inspire and earn.
6. Can I use a URL shortener for my Storefront links? 🔗
Absolutely! Using a service like Bitly or Linktree won’t affect your commission tracking. Feel free to make your links as neat and branded as you want.
7. Can I share both my App Install link and Storefront link together?
Yes, you can promote both at the same time. Just remember, App Install links only work for new users and bookings must be made through the app, not desktop. Consider your audience and what works best for them.

You earn 8% commission on every booking made through your Storefront. The more you share, the more you can earn!

If you’re using bank transfer, you need to earn at least €50 before getting paid. PayPal payments don’t have a minimum, you’ll get paid no matter the amount.
6. Will I be paid through Lumanu?
Nope! Storefront payments come directly through PayPal or bank transfer, depending on what you set in the Partner Portal. Lumanu is only for other GetYourGuide campaigns, not Storefront or Affiliate payments.
🔧 Technical & Troubleshooting
1. Can I add activities from other travel platforms?
No, only GetYourGuide activities can be added as bookable recommendations. But you can still add general recommendations for things to do in a region using text and image blocks, get creative!
2. I can't access my Storefront. What do I do? 🆘
First, check if you’ve switched on 2FA (two-factor authentication). If that’s set and you’re still having trouble, email our support team and we’ll help you out.
3. Do I need 2FA (two-factor authentication) to use Storefront? 🔒
Yes! 2FA is required to keep your account and earnings secure. We recommend using an authentication app like Google Authenticator instead of your phone number, so you don’t get locked out when traveling or if you change your number.
4. Something’s not working as expected, what should I do?
Try updating your browser and clearing your cache. If things still aren’t working, reach out to our support team for help.
